Day 81: A Short Update

Day 81 (Thursday): A Short Update.

I wake up this morning and the weather is beautiful. Stunning. I really need to take some pictures today. Surprisingly good oatmeal for breakfast. I think today will be spent loafing around, looking at maps, playing with the dog, resting, etc. A TRUE DAY OFF!Much more adorable, and much less than vicious than this photo might suggest

Rob and Beth offered to meet me at the top of Rainy pass tomorrow with all of my gear. I’m real happy ‘bout this… I have a good feeling about tomorrow, and now that I can do the climb unloaded, it should be a lot less grueling and lot more fun. I’m excited to move on and finish the Northern Tier, even though I’m having a really good time here. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are all supposed to be sunny.

I’m really, really close, and not sure how I feel about that, or even how I should be feeling about that. I’ll update more tomorrow, or the next time I have WIFI access. Wish me Luck!
