Day -32
So after tomorrow I will have gotten rid of all of my possessions save for my bed, AC unit and clothes. Then exactly 1 week from now I will be without an apartment and living on a small section of Nick, Filipe, Gina and Ryan's (hereafter referred to as NFGR) couch. It's real liberating, and occasionally troubling. Last weekend I threw out maybe 1/4 of my stuff, well packaged in black garbage bags sitting on the curb in front of my building. Within 15 minutes, everything had been torn asunder and the best parts taken. Another 15 minutes later, my dresser had been knocked on its side so a rather fat man could sit on it while waiting for the bus.
Matt and I have decided to leave on the 24th of July which is 1 month and 2 days from now. I am embedding a calendar in this post for whoever wants to keep tabs on my day-to-day operations til then.
Oh... so I quit that stupid bike class, as apparently I have no attention span; I truly am my mother's son. Please feel free to remind of this the next time I decide to get my MA in "whatever" at Columbia.
Tomorrow I throw out the shitty bike I bought from R&A Cycles 2 years ago. It was a terrible bike sold to me by a terrible shop, run by terrible people, and it'll be a fitting goodbye to see it used as a fat man's bench.
